TWO CONNECTED AREAS OF ANALYSIS
Beyond the code.
Across your environment.
Application weaknesses and infrastructure weaknesses need to be understood together. Coverage is agreed for your Autonomous service before analysis begins.
01 / CODEBASEHow your software behaves.
Analyse agreed repositories for potential vulnerabilities in application logic and the way data moves through your software.
- Authentication and authorisation checks
- Input handling and sensitive data exposure
- Dependency risks and security relevant code paths
02 / INFRASTRUCTUREHow your systems are configured.
Examine agreed infrastructure and configuration evidence for potential weaknesses in the environments supporting your applications.
- Configuration and access control weaknesses
- Exposed services and environment boundaries
- Permissions and connections between systems
Analysis uses the resources, evidence and access you authorise. The examples above describe potential areas of coverage, not a promise to inspect every system or identify every vulnerability.
FROM POTENTIAL FINDING TO REVIEWED FIX
Find. Validate.
Follow through.
Your Autonomous service includes both an AI engineering squad and Fusion Security. This additional security capability follows a controlled route from discovery to remediation.
01Discover
AI security agents analyse the agreed codebase and infrastructure and prepare potential findings with supporting context.
02Validate
JadeX engineers check the evidence, surrounding controls and relevance to your environment before treating a finding as confirmed.
03Prioritise
Agree impact, urgency and next steps with your team. Validated findings become scoped work in your backlog.
04Remediate
Prepare approved changes and appropriate tests or checks. JadeX engineers review the work; your team retains release control.
WHAT A FINDING COULD LOOK LIKE
Specific evidence.
Useful next steps.
ILLUSTRATIVE / CODEBASEAn access check may be missing.
An application endpoint appears to return information without the expected permission check. Engineers investigate the surrounding controls and intended audience before confirming an issue or proposing a fix.
ILLUSTRATIVE / INFRASTRUCTUREA service may be exposed too broadly.
A configuration appears to allow wider access than intended. Engineers validate the intended network boundary, service purpose and compensating controls before agreeing a change and how to verify it.
These are examples of potential findings, not results from a client assessment.
SCOPE AND CONTROL
Before analysis begins.
Agree coverage, permissions, analysis methods, review cadence and escalation responsibilities. Work stays within the authorised scope.
Is Fusion Security a standalone service?+
Fusion Security is included with Fusion Autonomous, in addition to its fully autonomous AI engineering squad. It is not a standalone service and is not included with Fusion Standard. Your Autonomous engagement defines the security analysis scope and operating responsibilities.
Does it cover both codebase and infrastructure?+
Yes. Coverage can include agreed code repositories and infrastructure, including configurations, access controls and exposed services. The environments, resources, access permissions and analysis methods are agreed before work begins. Coverage is limited to that authorised scope.
Who validates findings and approves changes?+
AI security agents prepare potential findings for JadeX engineers to validate in context. Your team agrees priorities. Approved remediation follows a scoped implementation, testing and engineering review process, with your team retaining release control.
Does it replace penetration testing or incident response?+
No. Fusion Security supports your security programme through agreed analysis and reviewed remediation. It does not replace specialist penetration testing, incident response or other security controls, and it does not guarantee that every vulnerability will be found.
